
when you suspect fraud
If you suspect that you’re involved in a fraudulent transaction or are a victim of fraud, please take the following actions:
- Forward any suspicious e-mails to fraud@buysafe.com for investigation and verification. We will respond back to you within one business day with the results of our investigation.
- File a complaint with The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). The IC3 is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NWC3). The IC3 gives the victims of cyber crime a convenient and easy-to-use reporting mechanism that alerts authorities of suspected criminal or civil violations. Click here to file a complaint with IC3
- Notify the marketplace, retail Website, and/or payment service through which you processed your transaction. In many cases, these services will offer protection and or means for investigating and combatting fraud.
